Learning How To Shop For Your Body

Hey guys! Spring is coming up very quickly, and I've been on the hunt all winter to find the cutest bathing suits for my upcoming trip to Aruba this May! But before I link all of the bathing suits I've bought for this Spring/Summer, I'm going to get a little personal on here today about how hard it has been bathing suit shopping for me this winter.

Maybe some of you know, maybe some of you don't but I am currently struggling with weight issues. Since June 2017 until now (March 2018), I have gained 40 pounds. 40 pounds in less than on year. This is something that has really killed my self esteem, makes me feel as though I have to dress differently for my body, and doesn't make me feel as "pretty" as all the other bloggers out there.

It's something that has had me down now for a very long time after going from size 8, to now a size 12-14 and almost not being able to shop at some of my favorite stores anymore. It's safe to say that bathing suit shopping this year has not been something I have been looking forward to.

It's very frustrating when you see skinny or average size girls wearing adorable bathing suits all over your Instagram feed, and you are over here feeling like you will never get to look as cute as they do in that suit.

But that's not the case for me right now. I've learned that all bodies are different, and you need to learn how to shop for your body type. Just because I have a different body type than a pretty blogger doesn't mean I can't have a different cute suit, am I right?

So, I've faced that fact that I am going to have to embrace how my body currently is, how it will stay, and found some super cute finds that work so well for me. These are suits that don't make me feel self conscious about my weight gain!

And the moment you've all been waiting for....
