Thirty Five & Oaks Photography Review
This weekend I had the honor of getting together with local PA photographer, Jacinta Scales; founder and photographer of Thirty Five & Oaks for my first fashion shoot.
Let me just say, getting together with any kind of photographer can be quite nerve wracking. So many questions, and anxiety occurs. Will it be awkward? What will you talk about? Will they be able to capture my emotion and energy?
None of these questions even once popped up in my mind when I was working with Jacinta. She knows how to get to the heart of a photo, she'll show your true colors through her beautiful photos and she was the absolute best to work with; caring, fun, and aware of your needs!
No awkward moments during the shoot, all fun conversation and laughs. I, myself am a terrible model believe it or not. I am awkward, and never know what to do in front of a camera for some reason. I just kind of stand there and barely move. Jacinta had spread her energy onto me and turned me into some sort of a model for the day. She would tell me twirl, flip my hair, when to smile, where to look, and say funny things just to make me laugh.
The entire time from a consultation, appointment scheduling, and the day of shooting she was professional at all times, but also very laid back which made me feel extremely comfortable, once again.
We went to the fabulous Longwood Gardens located in Kennett Square, PA. I have never been to such a beautiful place and had always dreamed of going. The best part was she had done shoots there before, and knew exactly what we were going to do, and what place were best to shoot which was awesome!
She had mentioned before we shot about certain rooms they had and one in particular: a desert room filled with cacti and succulents which was very helpful for me. This enabled me to plan out which outfits I wanted to wear in which rooms.
Jacinta is very fast in getting out her works of art to her clients. She says within 2 weeks depending on what other projects she has going on, but I got mine within only one week! She has an eye that is aware of the beauty that you didn't even realize was there!
On a side note, my entire life I have been planning my wedding just as I'm sure any other girl... As I got older, I have always been nervous about who my future wedding photographer was going to be... As soon as I found Thirty Five & Oaks, I knew.
Aware of her talent, Jacinta provided a service that was professional in every sense of the word. She was seasonable, reliable, and efficient. Her pictures are absolutely breathtaking! Her style has a unique beauty to it, you can always feel every emotion through her images.
